HCA-Series Vacuum Collector
Permanently sealed vacuum tubes due to design, no metal-glass connection through which the vacuum could be lost.

The HCA-Series is the consistent further development of our proven HPV-Series, which has been sold over 1100 times in Europe. Numerous detailed improvements have made it even more robust and easier to install. Due to the modified position of the connection nozzles, the same high performance can now be achieved with approximately 10% less space requirement. |
HCA-58/30
Vacuum tube collectors are suitable for all applications where both aesthetics and maximum performance are paramount. The well-thought-out design allows installation by just one person. Due to the modular structure, the collectors are suitable for a variety of thermal applications. It is no secret that this collector also originates from the Far East. Virtually all solar vacuum tubes worldwide, which operate on the thermos flask principle, are manufactured in China. Even well-known manufacturers based in Germany use them in their products.
For our own online distribution, we have for the first time refrained from relabeling the new HCA-Series, i.e., rewriting the certificates and approvals under a pseudo-brand name.

Performance Data HCA-58/30
Special Features
Performance
The HCA-58/30 undoubtedly plays in the top league in terms of performance. There may be vacuum collectors with CPC mirrors that can achieve even higher peak performance. However, it should be noted that significant performance increases can only be achieved with considerably higher design effort. In particular, CPC mirrors from reputable suppliers incur significant additional costs due to the high demands on durability.
Simply put... a 15% higher performance comes at the cost of 150% greater design effort
...whereas...
...a 15% larger system with HCA-58/30 collectors incurs only 15% additional costs.
Innovation
In contrast to the HPV-Series and most other collectors of similar design on the market, the HCA-Series collector box has been fundamentally revised.
For the first time, we are using 3/4-inch threaded nozzles with flat gaskets and dispensing with the usual compression ring fittings. This change was particularly requested by our commercial installers to make connections faster and easier. Additionally, universally available installation materials can now be used.
Another innovation is the modified arrangement of the connections; the threaded nozzles are now located on the top side. This has the advantage that individual collectors can be placed much closer together. Additionally, compensators for thermal expansion are no longer necessary; our flexible threaded connectors are sufficient.
Operational Reliability
The HCA-58/30 lacks any technical complexity; it was consistently developed for global distribution and can withstand the harshest environmental conditions. If the basic installation instructions are followed, it is a reliable companion for many years.
Durability
Anyone familiar with vacuum collectors can confirm that the design with thermos flask tubes combined with heat pipes is inherently extremely robust. Furthermore, we have significantly improved high-temperature performance and seawater resistance (coastal regions).
Simplicity
Once the heat pipe principle is understood, there are no major mysteries. Installation is straightforward. Due to the modular design, all components can be installed by a single person. It is often a significant advantage that components can be passed through a skylight individually. Systematically, it is also a great advantage that the solar system can be commissioned before inserting the vacuum tubes. The entire hydraulic system can be checked for errors or leaks in advance without covering the collectors.
Subsidies
All collectors in the HCA-Series are performance-tested according to EN-12975-1,2:2006, with the Solar KEYMARK certificate available, and they meet the requirements of RAL-UZ73 (Blue Angel). However, we refrain from paying licensing fees, which is why the collector will not be listed in the BAFA list of eligible solar collectors in the future.
